The finance industry sees many traditional players that have grown into enormously professional organisations over decades. Facing the challenges of the digital transformation necessary, many of these entities are destined to fail due to their incredible efficiency: everything is made to perfect existing structures and processes. What the digital transformation needs though is experimentation, a culture of fast failure and a new digital-emotional leadership. With our experience expedition to Tallinn, Estonia, we created a three-days long learning intervention for sixteen C-level decision makers from Germany representing banks, insurances, and bank-group central service businesses on exactly these matters.
